What We Are Looking For

Tendril is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented team member with a successful track record in Sales Development, which includes outbound calls and emails. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be given a list of accounts and leads to contact to convert them to viable potential customers. You will work closely with upper management, leadership, and most importantly the Sales Executives to navigate and close deals. Fostering the collaborative relationships with the Sales Team is vital and will become a priority.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate and qualify new leads.
  • Schedule appointments and demos for Sales Executives
  • Respond, engage and qualify outbound/inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Make High Volume Outbound Calls. (400+/week)
  • Think on your feet in a conversation and answer unexpected questions
  • Overcome Objections with Rebuttals.
  • Be Curious.
  • Make High Volume Outbound Emails.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Tendril’s product solution.
  • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams.
  • Drive attendance for webinars, live seminars, and set meetings.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach.

Experience/Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Minimum 1+ years experience as a Sales Development Representative.
  • Comfortable making outbound cold calls.
  • Strong and professional communication skills — both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic

  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, and requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Tendril.
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables and acts without being told what to do.
  • Have a passion for sales and the sales process.
  • Tech Savvy.
  • Experience in healthcare or EdTech Industry is a plus.
